Alstonville Tiles & Floorcoverings recently completed the installation of luxury vinyl plank flooring for this newly constructed dwelling at Swan Bay NSW. Our client chose Wattle – 2412 from the Polyflor, Mi Plank range of 5mm Luxury Vinyl Planks for their new home. Wattle is a striking light brown timber, with warm undertones and obvious growth rings. Inspired by natural timber, these vinyl planks feature unique knot and grain detailing to ensure an authentic Australian timber look.
As with all vinyl installation, substrate preparation is of paramount importance, and although this installation was in a newly constructed dwelling, it still required a significant degree of grinding, leveling and sanding to produce a floor suitable for the installation of vinyl plank flooring. – “Preparation makes perfect!”
